PRINCE GEORGE, BC - The Prince George Spruce Kings Junior A Hockey Club of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) is pleased to announce that Spruce Kings rookie forward, Jeff Earnest, has verbally committed to a four year scholarship at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. with the selection of defenceman Wes McLeod to the Team Canada West roster
for the 2009 World Junior 'A' Challenge. Wes is one of twenty-two players
that will represent Canada West at the fourth annual WJAC from November 1-8,

Two Rivers Gallery is interested in exploring drawing in BC. Noting that there is a wide range of approaches towards drawing, the gallery encourages artists working in any media to submit images and details of up to six drawings.
