Smith dances for his life and survives
Izaak Smith and his partner Kaitlyn Fitzgerald found themselves in the bottom 3 couples this week for the first time in this year's So You Think You Can Dance Canada competition.
But with poise and determination, both Izaak and Kaitlyn won over the judges and will return next week to compete with the other six remaining couples. While the judges deliberated on his fate, Izaak appeared to believe it was he who would be sent home. But it was Joey Matt of Calgary and his partner Tamina Pollack-Paris of Toronto who receive the bad news that their competition was over.
Tonight's results show opened up with a double shot of Prince George talent. In addition to Izaak's appearance, the group Viennese Waltz number, choreographed by judge Jean Marc Genereux, was set to "Old School" by Canadian band Hedley, which features former local resident Dave Rosin on guitar.
Watch Izaak next Wednesday at 8:00 pm local time on CTV. Those enthusiastic about voting for Izaak are encouraged to join the Facebook group.
