Cougars Partner On Kinsmen Skate-A-Thon

The players will join members of the Prince George Minor Hockey Association as they skate laps and participate in drills on Sunday, November 29th. The fundraiser will take place at the Kin Centre.
“We’re working to take it up a notch this year,” said Kin Chairperson, Laurence Emerson. “We are thrilled to have both Stu Malgunas, and the Prince George Cougars helping us out this year. Young hockey players really look up to the Cougars, and with two Cougar players out on the ice with each age group, chatting, and even offering tips, the skaters are going to have a great time.”
“We are proud to partner with the Kinsmen Club of Prince George and minor hockey players to raise money to support children and families in our community. We recognize the contributions the Kinsmen Club has made to sports organizations and other non-profit groups in Prince George and are excited to have our players participate in this event,” said Cougars Vice President, Brandi Brodsky.
The Kinsmen Skate-a-Thon raises money for to assist the Kinsmen in their goal of serving the community’s greatest needs. Past projects include The Kin Centres, The Kinsmen Community Complex and work on various parks and playgrounds.
