Due to Sold-Out Concert the PGSO Opens Messiah Dress Rehearsal

The PGSO’s production of GF Handel’s Messiah this Saturday night, December 12th, at Vanier Hall is sold out! If you missed out on buying tickets the PGSO is pleased to provide another opportunity to hear this awe-inspiring performance in a rehearsal setting.

Join PGSO Music Director and Conductor Leslie Dala and a cast of hundreds including the Prince George Symphony Orchestra, 4 internationally recognized soloists, a 110 voice choir and the PGSO production crew at 10:30am on Saturday at Vanier Hall for a behind the scenes peak and a chance to hear the music.

Admission is $15.00 at the door and on a first come/first seated basis from 9:45 am onwards. No one will be admitted once the rehearsal has started.

Have you ever wondered how a huge production like Messiah comes together? How does a 110 person choir get organized onto the stage? What do the famous soloists look like without the glitter and tails? What does the Conductor say and do to bring the very best out of his musicians in the last rehearsal hours before the big concert?

The rehearsal begins at promptly at 10:30am and will end at 1pm. There will be a 20 minute intermission.

Please join us and learn more about YOUR Symphony Orchestra. No advance booking necessary. Come as you are!
