Cougars Help Celebrate Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay

PRINCE GEORGE, BC– The Prince George Cougars are proud to announce our participation in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay!

On Wednesday, January 27, the Cougars will host the Medicine Hat Tigers, which will include a puck dropping ceremony in celebration of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay. The event will feature a number of guests including several torchbearers selected by Coca-Cola and RBC who will carry the Olympic Flame as it passes through our community.

Prince George will officially welcome the Olympic Flame on January 29. An evening celebration is being planned featuring live entertainment, special guests and a cauldron lighting ceremony.

Puck drop for the Cougars vs. Tigers game on Wednesday, January 27 is 7:00. Tickets are available by calling Ticketmaster at 250-564-5585.
