Event Details:

February and March will be exciting months for Studio 2880. We will be hosting the artwork of Dan Moore and Elmer Gunderson in the Feature Gallery.
Dan Moore is a local photographer and a member of the Prince George Photographic Society. His primary focus is nature photography but he also has a strong interest in macro and abstract imagery and will shoot just about anything that catches his eye.
He has been interested in art all his life and has some background as a graphic artist. In the last few years he has found immense satisfaction endeavoring to capture fine art images of the world around us, through the lens of his camera, and looks forward to sharing them with you.
Since childhood Elmer Gunderson has been consumed with the urge to artistically manipulate the world around him. His doodling progressed to water colors and "pen & ink". As he continued to explore his creative talents and found the challenge of art in three dimensional form to be the most fulfilling. Elmer finds that to create something within the boundaries of a natural object rather than that of a piece of paper allows him to explore his limits as an artist.
Whether he's working in stone or wood he feels that he's giving back to nature. Combining the beauty of the natural world with his own creativity he can give something ordinary a finer distinction.
An Open House will be held on Thursday, February 11th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Studio 2880, 2820 15th Ave. Light refreshments will be served and there will be 10% off all Gift Shoppe merchandise.
