Help Big Brothers Big Sisters “Strike It Big” for local kids

A change of shoes can change a life. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince George is asking people to throw on a pair of bowling shoes and help make a big difference for children living in our community. The annual Bowl for Kids Sake campaign is now underway and is in need of people like you.

“We are looking for teams of 4-6 friends, family and co-workers who like to have fun, kick back and help us make a big difference” says Tim Bennett, Community Development Coordinator. “Bowl for Kids Sake is the most exciting event and one of the largest fundraising events for our agency. There are some great prizes for the event including a trip for two anywhere on WestJet’s regular service.”

The Bowl for Kids Sake event is scheduled for Sunday March 21st at Strike Zone. There is no registration fee to participate; participants are asked to collect pledges. “We want to make collecting pledges easy. You now collect pledges by using your pledge sheet or you can collect them online by sending out an e-mail to your contacts, using your Facebook or Twitter Accounts.”
