Cougars Invite Fans to "Tour Your Own Town"
PRINCE GEORGE, BC- Cougars fans will have a chance to check out the best of Prince George at the “Tour Your Own Town” game on March 5th during the final Friday game of the season. Various local and regional attractions will host interactive booths on the concourse throughout the evening.
Barkerville Historic Town, The Exploration Place, Huble Homestead, Noah’s Ark Adventureland, Prince George Aquatic Centre, Prince George Public Library, The Railway and Forestry Museum and Studio 2880 are confirmed to attend. Each booth will offer information and the opportunity for children and families to experience the attractions on a small scale.
“We look forward to promoting local businesses and non-profit organizations at the March 5th game,” said Cougars Vice President, Brandi Brodsky. “This will be a great night for families and I think they will be impressed by the caliber of activities offered at each booth. There will be people here in period costume and certain organizations are offering coupons and incentives.”
Season ticket holders are also invited to come early to Friday’s game for the unique chance to enjoy a pregame skate on home ice. The ice will be open to season ticket holders from 4:30-5:30pm, with Cougars players on the bench signing autographs from 4:30-5:00pm.
