Dance Your Way Into Fall
Our smoky, sultry Prince George summer is winding down, and soon the bustle of September back-to-school and back-to-routine will be here. The time of year when we start to retreat from the elements and find ourselves back inside is a great time to dance!
Amanita Middle Eastern Dance is offering classes starting mid-September, and whether you are new to belly dance, or returning to it, shimmies, spins and isolations are great ways to revive yourself - body, mind and soul!
"I started to belly dance because I thought it would be a great way to get in shape", says choreographer/instructor Emma Faulkner. "But what I have found over time is that dance is a wonderful way to connect with other women, to learn to respect and appreciate your body and what it can do, and most of all, simply to have fun!"
