PGSO's planning for The Spirit of The One Song Festival is under way
Made possible by the Assembly of BC Arts Councils and the British Columbia 2010 Sports and Arts Legacy Program PGSO has begun the planning of a month long February 2011 Arts and Cultural Festival.
Throughout February, 2011, the Spirit of The One Song Festival will blend the music of the PGSO with arts groups, gilds and galleries and collaborate with public and private organizations including the Prince George Public Library, Schools, Care Facilities and the Elizabeth Fry Society.
Prince George has so many ‘Songs’ to hear! The Spirit of The One Song Festival will conclude on the evening of February 26th, 2011 with a grand performance at the Coast Inn of the North with the community brought to the stage to share with you their art, their food, their dance and their wealth of talent. Combining sight and sound, the performance will include people and organizations such as Judy Russell’s Enchainement Dance Centre, Serious Moonlight Productions, Story teller A.J. Mittendorf, The Prince George Photography Club, The Prince George Symphony Orchestra, First Nations Soprano Marion Newman and more to come.
The festival is looking for Artists
