Academy Award winning film "No Country for Old Men" parodied by local teens
Local film buffs may know that the Cohen brothers' film No Country for Old Men won the Oscar for Best Picture earlier this year, as well as a slew of other awards.
What they may not know about, however, is the great parody of the film created by a group of local teens.
Titled "No Country For Bold Men," the film does a magnificent job of making fun of the tone and style of the source material, and does a good job injecting humor into one of the movie's better known scenes. At 3 minutes and 6 seconds the short film is the perfect length to make it's point, create a few laughs and leave the viewer very satisfied.
Directed by Justin Kelly and Daniel Stark, with production by Cole Monkton and starring James Matosevic, Craig Santos and Brett Alexander Warkentin.
