Students of Dawn Boudreau Music Present Fourth Annual Spring Concert Bouquet ‘08 at the Prince George Playhouse

The students of Dawn Boudreau Music Studio are busy rehearsing and gearing up for the fourth annual presentation of Bouquet, a spring concert that has become the season focus for students of Dawn Boudreau. Ranging in age from 6 to adult, the performers are preparing a wide variety of numbers for this Saturday, May 31 event, from choreographed group numbers like Sparking Diamonds (Moulin Rouge), to solo pop hits with a live band like Bubbly and Breathe (2AM), to musical theatre numbers like Popular (Wicked).

“I promise you will be entertained! The students have been working for months on these numbers, many of them adding choreography to make the performance more exciting for the audience. I also encourage individuals who are considering signing up with our studio in September to come and check out what we do,” says Dawn Boudreau, who has been teaching private vocal lessons in the Prince George community for six years. “Bouquet is the focus of our year and will mark the end of the 07-08 Season. We specialize in training singers to perform, not just to sing, and Bouquet is our time to show it.”

Bouquet ‘08 will feature a few piano students as well as the usual vocalists. Since moving to the home-based studio last September, Dawn Boudreau has added a few beginner piano students to the large population of vocal students under her instruction.

Tickets are $12 including GST, with a group rate of $10 per ticket when purchasing 10 or more at one time. Tickets may be purchased at Studio 2880 Ticket Centre 563-2880.
